Gary Armstrong.
VICE CHAIRMAN.                                                                                                       
ACHIEVMENT SCHEME CO-ORDINATOR        

Gary has been flying since 1970, and is currently Area Vice- Chairman having been a club delegate since 1990. Main interests are large scale aerobatics, floatplanes and occasionally helis, slope and both R/C and F/F indoor. Won Woodvale Imac comp 1995, F3A Masters Aerobatic flyer and qualified judge. Membership Secretary for the LMA and part of the organizing committee of Northumbrian Model Air Show. A large model event held at long horsely since 1993 

 
Pete Watson.
SECRETARY.

Pete startedmodelling in the 1953,  main interest being team race. Began flying RC in 1972, flying for sport only. Raced 1/8 scale RC cars in the 1980s, and returned to aeomodelling in 2000. Currently flies electric powered models, predominantly electric soarers.
 

Tom Walker.
TREASURER   

Tom is secretary / treasurer of Sunderland & District mac, and has been involved in all the branches of areomodelling for 1/2 a century. For the last 24 years Tom has been BMFA Area Treasurer, and was awarded the Arthur Mullet Trophy for services to areomodelling in 1999

  
Tom Jones
AREA DELEGATE.                                                                                                            AREA PRO.
Tom was chairman of Teesside model flying club, and raised a great deal of grants to further the club. Was co-opted as Area PRO in August 2002. Brian Martin.
COMPETITION SECRETARY.
Competition secretary (F/F) since 1990. Tynemouth Club Area Delegate since 1984. Joined SMAE / BMFA in 1957 and originally flew control line and single channel R/C, in the old Gateshead Club.
